Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Good understanding of IT requirements for an end to end solution, including security, business continuity, disaster recovery, risk analysis and prepare business case In-depth knowledge of the Windows OS (server and client) and the desktop operating environment. Linux and other mainstream OS knowledge will be helpful.
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts Advanced knowledge of infrastructure service management & diagnostic tools and processes Advanced knowledge of end-point security management tools and processes Understanding of IT Infrastructure asset lifecycle management Extensive experience in the design of local area and wide area networks.
  • Complexity of projects ranges from simple projects with minimal risks/ uncertainty to medium level projects with some high impact risks and multiple project variables with uncertainty.
  • Excellent understanding of IP, MPLS, WAN, Ethernet, Wireless networking technologies. Experience with Sonic Operating System on Dell or any other hardware. Experience with data centre design, security principles, computing infrastructure.
  • Engaged by the unknowns of implementing emergent technologies and industry standards. Experience with Cisco 6500 and Nexus 5000 is highly desired.
  • Must have experience working in an enterprise Datacenter environment Cloud migration experience is preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

Must Have:

  • 7 to 10 years of related experience.
  • Experience in similar job roles such as the design of local area and wide area networks.
  • 2 to 4 years experience in a similar technical analyst/ network specialist role supporting Cisco equipment and software Experience with Sonic Operating System on Dell or any other hardware Experience on IP networks and Cisco Networking Products
