Job Summary (Senior Java Developer – Jefferies, NYC)
- 10+ years of experience working with Java in the US, specifically in banking/financial services industry
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited US college required
- Strong background in data engineering, building and integrating data-driven solutions
- Design, develop, and deliver Java-based APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot, AWS, and Kafka
- Develop and optimize SQL stored procedures, functions, and data warehousing solutions
- Experience with Salesforce CRM ecosystem
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau CRM, Cognos, PowerBI)
- Exposure to ETL and Data Engineering tools (e.g., Mulesoft, StreamSets, Databricks)
- Develop TDD/BDD unit tests; collaborate with QA on defect triage and resolution
- Proactive participant in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, backlog grooming)
- Experience working with distributed/virtual teams
- Provide technical leadership: mentor team members, resolve technical issues, conduct peer code reviews
- Work onsite in NYC 3 days/week (local candidates only)
- US Citizens/GC/EAD only; valid LinkedIn required
