Java/Kotlin Developer

PROJECT INFORMATION:

  • Industry: banking
  • Location: hybrid work (1 day a week from the office in Gdansk)
  • Start: ASAP (to be agreed)
  • Project duration: long term

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop new features and maintain existing ones in backend applications.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand and meet project requirements.
  • Support and monitor new releases to ensure stability and performance.
  • Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high code quality and consistency.
  • Commit code daily to ensure continuous progress and integration with the team’s work.

REQUIREMENTS:.

  • Strong familiarity with Object-Oriented Design and programming best-practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Java or/and Kotlin.
  • Fluent work with Spring Boot framework.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes container systems.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Sufficient level of English language to communicate with other people.
  • Experience in Apache Kafka, REDIS, Infrastructure as Codee.
  • Real-life experience with CI/CD related tools such as Bamboo or Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of security aspects: JWT, HTTPS, key stores, certificates.
