Title: Remote Data Scientist - Finance BI | Contract | $60-70/hr

We’re hiring a Data Scientist to join a Finance Business Intelligence team on a fully remote, 6-month contract basis. This role is ideal for someone experienced in SQL, Snowflake, and financial data analysis, with a strong ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain database solutions to support financial reporting and forecasting
  • Lead analysts and partner with finance stakeholders to align on reporting needs
  • Write complex SQL queries and build dashboards with tools like Tableau or Power BI

Ideal Background:

  • 5+ years in a Data Scientist or Database Developer role
  • Strong SQL and Snowflake experience
  • Experience with finance teams, FP&A, or SaaS metrics preferred

Rate: $60-70/hr

Location: Fully Remote

Duration: 6-month contract (potential to convert)
