JOB: Full time

ROLE : Data Analyst - GIS

Location : Austin,TX

Duties

Perform ad hoc database investigations to understand

data maintenance issues and explore remedies.

Assist with the automation of data maintenance tasks.

Qualifications: all qualifications for the i.Ability to write and debug SQL queries (postgres preferred)

ii.Fluency with the command line interface (bash, zshell)

iii.Basic scripting ability (python preferred)

iv.Ability to understand the underlying data structure impacted by maintenance edits

v.Experience or the ability to learn Apple proprietary database CLI

Responsibilities

i.Ability to complete Client Project Training for all map data layers.

ii.Ability to complete Client Tools Training for map data editing, edit tracking and reporting.

iii.General skills in open-source research for map data corroboration.

iv.Ability to conduct targeted research in registered data sources.

v.Fluency or ability to gain fluency with macOS, Numbers, Pages, Slack, Quip, Mail, Calendar, and Client Maps.

vi.Good communication skills

vii.Must work 5 days in office

Must complete the client specific training and certification

Salary Range: $59,000 -$65,000 a year
