JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Product Manager, you will take a leading role in defining and delivering product features that meet the needs of healthcare providers and hospital systems. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle—from strategic planning and development to successful product launches—ensuring smooth integration of medical devices and enhancing hospital workflows through EHR, EMR, and PDMS integration. This is a unique opportunity to work on advanced healthcare technology that has a direct impact on patient care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s business goals.
- Lead the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and feature prioritization to roadmap development and sprint management.
- Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on customer impact, technical feasibility, and business value.
- Oversee agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review meetings, ensuring timelines are met.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, engineering, sales, and customer support, to ensure successful product releases that are on time and within scope.
- Collect and analyze feedback from key stakeholders, including clinicians, nurses, and hospital IT teams, to ensure the product addresses real-world needs and enhances hospital workflows.
- Oversee the integration of medical devices with hospital systems such as EHR, EMR, and PDMS, ensuring seamless interoperability.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to ensure the product stays competitive and addresses evolving market demands.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related matters, providing leadership and support to both internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure all product documentation, training materials, and support resources are up-to-date, comprehensive, and user-friendly.
- Continuously monitor product performance metrics and gather user feedback to drive ongoing improvements and innovations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in healthcare technology or software.
- Proven experience with product lifecycle management, agile development, and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, EMR systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical teams.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Familiarity with medical device communication standards (e.g., HL7, ASTM) and experience in integration projects is advantageous.
- Proficiency in product management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with critical care systems or telehealth solutions.
- Certification in Product Ownership or Agile methodologies (e.g., CSPO, SAFe).
