As a Senior Unity Engineer, you'll be instrumental in crafting the visual language for this new form of entertainment. Working closely with real-time data, cinematic tools, and a multidisciplinary team, you’ll help deliver compelling, next-generation sports content that engages audiences like never before.
If you’re a creative problem solver with a hands-on approach and a passion for prototyping, this role is made for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Build real-time interactive experiences in Unity with a strong emphasis on camera systems, visual storytelling, and user engagement
- Design and implement cinematic camera systems using Cinemachine and Timeline
- Work with lighting, shaders, animation, and VFX to produce polished, immersive scenes
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to prototype and iterate rapidly
- Contribute creatively to projects—helping define framing, pacing, and emotional tone
- Optimise content for performance across a variety of platforms, including lower-end devices
- Integrate with real-time data, APIs, and backend systems as needed
- Participate in all stages of the creative pipeline, from concept to final build
What You’ll Bring
- Proven Unity development experience across multiple platforms (e.g. mobile, PC, WebGL, TV)
- Strong foundation in 3D animation, visual effects, or digital media production
- Expertise in Unity’s camera tools, especially Cinemachine and Timeline
- Deep understanding of lighting, post-processing, and shader optimisation, particularly in URP
- Experience using Shader Graph or custom HLSL for shader development
- Hands-on, iterative approach to development—ideally with a history of prototyping (e.g. game jams, personal projects)
- Strong collaborative mindset, able to work across creative and technical teams
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with backend or data-driven technologies (e.g. GraphQL, Pub/Sub)
- Experience with audio design, spatialisation, or implementation tools
Benefits & Perks
- Access to innovative tech and creative environments
- Exclusive discounts on entertainment products and services
- Private healthcare and a generous pension scheme
- Opportunities for personal growth, training, and professional development
- Hybrid working model with flexible home/office arrangements
