Senior Front End Developer – React

We are seeking a Senior Front End Developer with expertise in React, Node, Java, and AWS to join a leading Australian bank. You will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling a new platform, applying best practices to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Senior-level expertise in designing, contributing to, and mentoring teams.
• 8+ years of experience with client and server-side JavaScript.
• 5+ years of strong proficiency in React.
• Commitment to writing high-quality, testable, and maintainable code.
• Working knowledge of Node.js.
• Exceptional technical and non-technical problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and package management systems.
• Experience thriving in an Agile environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, positive approach.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with static type systems like TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with deploying technologies on AWS.
• Knowledge of Docker for local development.
• Exposure to enterprise-level Java development (ideally 8+ years).
• Experience with GraphQL APIs.
