Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect/ Governance Architect

Cloud architect will play a pivotal role in developing cloud strategy, architecture, designing, implementing, migrating, and managing critical cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

Architect will be a trusted advisor, providing technical leadership, and guidance to ensure our cloud solutions meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and security.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and performant cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure, focusing on developer experience and modern ways of working
  • Work with executive stakeholders on hybrid cloud strategy and plans for workload migration
  • Architect and implement cloud infrastructure on Azure for containerization and microservices solutions
  • Collaborate with digital stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective Azure infrastructure architectures
  • Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts in Azure environments, diagnosing and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance and availability
  • Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to security best practices, leveraging Azure and non-azure resources for comprehensive cloud protection
  • Develop hybrid cloud strategies that integrate on-premises infrastructure with Azure services, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow
  • Work with Azure DevOps and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform) to deploy and manage Azure resources efficiently
  • Evaluate digital solutions based on well-defined frameworks published by Microsoft and other cloud experts
  • Continuously monitor and assess infrastructure performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost reduction
  • Partner with Developers, Security and Operations teams to develop and implement a robust hybrid cloud strategy
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal teams on best practices for cloud architecture, design patterns, and tools
  • Demonstrate abilities to implement and configuring Azure best practices, including Azure Landing-zone, Azure cloud resources, Azure Security Center, and other Azure security features to protect data and resources


Requirements

TECHNICAL and INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

  • Experience in developing hybrid cloud strategies, integrating, and migrating on-premises infrastructure
  • Extensive experience working with Microsoft Azure on PaaS and IaaS level, designing, and implementing complex solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in performance assessment and optimization of Azure environments to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Hands-on experience with Azure administration, setup, and security
