Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Senior Engineer - (Golang) to join our "Quick Commerce" team. Contribute to the creation of our next-generation platform, which works on expanding our amazing delivery to new products such as groceries, pharmaceuticals, flowers, and more. • You will build our next-generation platform to not only sell food to our hungry customers but also grocery items and many more.
• You will define software architecture, communicating effectively with engineers, product managers, partners, leaders, and a broad set of stakeholders.
• You don’t shy away from building reliable, scalable systems with high concurrency and are always eager to learn new languages and technologies. Your decisions will make an impact since your ideas and efforts do matter.

Qualifications

• Golang & Distributed Systems Expertise – 3+ years of experience in Golang, specializing in distributed systems and services.
• Large-Scale Applications & Agile Methodologies – 4+ years of experience working on large-scale applications with 3+ years in agile environments.
• Cloud & Infrastructure – Professional experience with AWS/GCP, infrastructure management using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Helm.
• Messaging & Caching – Hands-on experience with Kafka and Redis for real-time data processing and caching.
• Software Engineering Excellence – Strong Computer Science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, software design) with a focus on high-quality code, automated testing, and best practices.
• Ownership & Collaboration – Independent decision-maker, pragmatic problem solver, and strong communicator in English, thriving in collaborative environments.
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Backend & Microservices Development – Experience in implementing RESTful and gRPC services, building and maintaining high-traffic microservices with Kubernetes, and following best practices for inter-service communication.
• Infrastructure & Observability – Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Drone, Spinnaker) and monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, distributed tracing).
• Database & Architecture Expertise – Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, ACID principles, indexing) and experience with document-oriented databases (MongoDB, Couchbase, DynamoDB, Firestore), as well as event-driven hexagonal architecture.
