Location: Dublin (South West)

Job Description:

Our client, a well-established FMCG company, is seeking a skilled Business Data Specialist to join their marketing and digital CRM team. The ideal candidate will have a background in data engineering and now operates effectively in a business-focused data role, managing and leveraging large volumes of data from a variety of internal and external sources to support data-driven campaigns.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with marketing and CRM teams to implement data-led strategies across digital campaigns
• Manage and integrate large datasets from both internal departments and third-party providers
• Translate business requirements into technical data solutions to support commercial and marketing objectives
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all platforms and campaigns
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track campaign performance and data trends
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure effective data use
• Maintain and improve data flows and ETL processes to support real-time decision-making
• Support data governance practices ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations

Experience Required

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data engineering, transitioning into a business-facing data role
• Demonstrable experience working on digital marketing or CRM-related data projects
• Strong proficiency in data integration, transformation, and reporting tools
• Experience managing campaign and consumer data across multiple sources

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with data tools and platforms such as SQL, Python, Power BI, or similar
• Exposure to marketing automation systems and CRM platforms
• Understanding of data compliance and privacy best practices
• FMCG or retail industry experience is a distinct advantage

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Working Hours & Benefits

• Monday to Friday, standard working hours
• Hybrid working model available ( 2 days on site / 3 days from home)
