We’re looking for a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join our ever evolving Checkouts team to help us unleash the potential of every business.

About the team

You will be working with a team developing .NET services that are deployed to Amazon Web Services (AWS) utilizing the best features they have to offer.

As a Software Engineer you could work with bleeding edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.

What you’ll own

• Designing, programming, debugging and modifying software enhancements.
• Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.
• Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.
• Working with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams.

What you bring

• Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards
• At least 7 years of experience designing and developing software products in .NET, with a recent focus on .NET Core/ C#
• Experience developing microservices and cloud-based applications using containers, preferably within AWS
• Working experience with secure coding techniques
• Relational SQL database experience, preferably with PostgreSQL
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with Docker, NoSQL databases, Message Queues, Git, Jenkins
• Direct experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes is a plus

Added bonus if you have

• Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations and operations
• Direct experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes
• A bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or equivalent experience
