The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects. In this role, you will assist in managing and coordinating project activities within your scope, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and performance targets.

Working under the guidance of your Manager, you will help drive project success by overseeing timelines, resources, and deliverables, while ensuring compliance with James Fisher & Son’s policies, processes, and procedures. Principle Accountabilities

  • Ensure health, safety, environment, sustainability and security objectives are achieved throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Work with HSEQ Department to ensure compliance with all Safety, Quality and Environmental policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Assist with the identification, evaluation, mitigation and reporting all risks to ensure that James Fisher delivers to its contractual requirements.
  • Ensure projects are executed in accordance with James Fisher Global Project Execution Process (GPEP), New Process Design (NPD) and associated procedures to ensure that the governance is maintained throughout the project.
  • Develop detailed project plans to guide the customer and internal stakeholders on the projects progress, status and variances from the plan.
  • Monitor, compile and submit project reports to the customer and internal management capturing the status of the project in line with PMO processes. This will include working and reporting on contractual KPI’s.
  • Accurately communicate project status and performance through the tiered management system daily, weekly and monthly as required. This will include working on reporting contractual KPI’s.
  • Assist with financial performance against budget and satisfactory achievement of contractual and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to achieve contractual requirements.
  • Address and optimize projects documentation approval process following project MDR/SDRL and Customers expectation and budget
  • Close monitoring and on time handling of VOR’s and MoC (Management of Change) during the project cycle.
  • Follow up in coordination with Supply Chain, the delivery of material and services required for the assigned projects

Qualifications And Experience

  • Experience working in a similar role as Project Coordinator within Energy, Oil & Gas industry
  • Experienced working with multidisciplinary teams
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Solutions minded and highly organized
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong IT skills in MS office including Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at all levels of the organization
  • Energetic, dynamic, positive, and enthusiastic with the ability to think laterally and act proactively through reasoned decision making

Desirable Skills

  • MS Planer experience
  • Commercial experience in bidding processes
  • International product delivery experience, preferably within Oil & Gas
  • Be flexible and available to travel in line with projects demands
  • Awareness of NORSOK standards would be advantageous
  • Familiar with international Quality and Safety standards (ISO 9001, 45001 etc.)
  • Commercial experience in bidding processes
  • Fundamentals & Project Management Qualification (or similar)
