Project HSE Manager (6 Months)

Job Requirements

Job Purpose

Project HSE Manager

• Administer and implement Project Specific HSE Plan, HSE programs, regulatory requirements and In-house HSE Management System
• Advice and support project management team to achieve the project HSE Targets/Goals
• Review work of subordinates and maintain necessary updates and record them regularly.
• Work closely with clients and other relevant partners’ HSE representatives and prepare necessary Project HSE Documents.
• Participate in Management Safety walkabout and other regular HSE inspection carried out in project.
• Participate in all required HSE meetings and prepare and record all meeting minutes for the project.
• Conduct Regular Audit required for the Project.
• Initiate Programs for continual HSE improvement
• Review Risk Assessments and Work method statements for Project high risk activities.
• Manage Sub-contractors to coordinate HSE Programs
• Carry out daily site inspection to ensure workplace is safe to work
• Conduct HSE Trainings when required
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements including client HSE requirements.
• Carry out incident investigations and propose corrective actions to be implemented.
  
  

Work Experience

Requirement

Must be a Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM

A minimum of 10-12 years of working experience in the Marine and Offshore industries

Preferably in the Oil and Gas/ Shipyard industry

Other features of job (shift or night work, travel, working conditions etc.)

Need to work extended work hours and shift works according to project needs

Education, Qualifications And Special Training

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental and occupational safety and health or in any Engineering Subject
• Assess confined space for safety entry and work certification
• Risk Management Training Course
• Work at Height Assessor certification
• Occupational First Aid & AED Course
• Incident Investigation
• Internal Auditor training course for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
