We are seeking a highly skilled Lead iOS Developer with expertise in Swift to join our team working on an innovative digital farming platform in the USA. The ideal candidate will be fluent in either iOS, Android, or C++ technology stacks and will lead the development of mobile applications, collaborating across teams to deliver seamless integrations of data and web components.

Responsibilities


  • Lead the development of iOS applications using Swift and adapt to Objective-C and Cocoapods as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data, web components, and third-party services into mobile solutions
  • Ensure mobile apps follow secure coding practices and optimize for performance
  • Manage dependency frameworks, SDKs, and API contracts to ensure efficiency in development
  • Establish and oversee mobile testing automation and CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development processes
  • Maintain source control systems using Git and implement GitHub flow practices
  • Oversee deployment of iOS applications to the Apple App Store, ensuring compliance with all guidelines
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other developers on the team
  • Tackle technical challenges while enhancing the scalability and performance of mobile applications


Requirements


  • Fluency in either Android (Java 8+, Kotlin, SQLite), iOS (Swift, Objective-C, Cocoapods), or C++ technology set
  • 5+ years of experience developing mobile apps in one or more of the mentioned technology stacks
  • At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
  • Expertise in mobile development processes, including secure coding, automated testing, and CI/CD implementation
  • Strong knowledge of source control systems like Git and familiarity with GitHub flow
  • Proven experience deploying apps to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (or comparable experience for internal corporate development)
  • Background in dependency management and API integration with third-party SDKs
  • Proficiency in mobile app optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting
  • Excellent written and spoken English (B2+ level), enabling effective communication with diverse stakeholders


Nice to have


  • Experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Familiarity with both iOS and Android platforms to provide cross-platform insights and flexibility
  • Experience with IntelliJ and Android Studio IDEs
