Azure Data Engineer

  • University degree in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering, combined with a minimum of 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Azure data lake storage and Oracle databases;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing data pipelines from REST APIs and on integration, such as Python, Azure Synapse Analytics and SQL;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in processing JSON and GIS data;
  • Ability to implement robust data quality checks, logging, and monitoring in ETL processes;
  • Ability to document ETL workflows, metadata, and technical specifications clearly and consistently;
  • Experience with DevOps and version control best practices and CI/CD pipelines;
  • Certification in Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate is required;
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Azure Developer Associate and Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate would be considered an asset;
  • Excellent command of the English language.
