About the role

We are seeking an experienced leader to take on the critical role of Head of Managed Services in the Nordic region. In this position, you’ll be responsible for developing and driving excellence across our Managed Services offering. Your mission will be to build world-class expertise, methodologies, and frameworks, ensuring we consistently deliver high-quality, impactful solutions to our clients.

Our Managed Services go beyond traditional maintenance — we focus on optimizing products in their production phase, helping them perform at their best and achieve their full market potential. We leverage automation, efficient operations, and continuous development, always targeting tangible value creation for in-production systems.

Our services include:

LiveOps: AI-driven automation, 24/7 monitoring, and rapid incident response to optimize services already in production.

DevOps: Efficient, scalable service development with a strong focus on maintainability and business value.

Operations Advisory: Tailored assessments and strategic roadmaps to tackle challenges like high operational costs and low development efficiency.

Continuous Design: Enhancing user experience by evolving intuitive and adaptable UI/UX interfaces alongside user needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a team of over 60 experts across the Nordic region.

  • Define and implement the strategic vision for Managed Services, ensuring alignment with Futurice’s broader business goals.

  • Develop and evolve best practices, methodologies, and tools to maintain excellence and consistency.

  • Identify emerging technologies and market trends to keep our offering at the forefront.

  • Provide thought leadership and strategic direction across projects, ensuring delivery aligns with client needs and industry standards.

  • Actively attract, develop, and retain talent, ensuring we have the right expertise today and for the future.

  • Close collaboration with sales teams to align service capabilities with evolving client and market needs.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a strong leader with a proven track record in managing business operations and guiding teams to success. Ideally, you have extensive experience with continuous services and managed service models, and you’re known for your ability to deliver results and see initiatives through to completion. We value a proactive mindset and a passion for exploring new growth opportunities, including expanding into untapped markets. You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and enjoy working collaboratively with others. Excellent communication skills are a must, as you’ll need to explain complex technical concepts in a way that resonates with both technical experts and non-technical stakeholders.
