Senior Firmware Engineer

Join a global tech leader shaping the future of cloud and edge computing. Their Cork-based team is growing, and we’re looking for experienced Firmware Engineers to develop the embedded software powering cutting-edge silicon used in data centers and edge platforms worldwide.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain low-level firmware and drivers for SoCs and edge systems
• Work closely with hardware and architecture teams on integration and validation
• Debug system-level issues and support new silicon bring-up
• Contribute to embedded Linux development and documentation

What You Bring:

• 2–7+ years in embedded systems, BSPs, or driver development
• Experience with secure boot, TrustZone, or embedded Linux
• Strong C/C++ skills and familiarity with SPI, I2C, PCIe, and SoC architecture
• Bonus: experience with custom SoCs, FPGAs, Git/Gerrit, or open-source contributions
