PHP Technical Lead

At our core, we focus on integrating new payment providers and risk management tools to enhance our system capabilities and security. This role offers the chance to dive into complex problem-solving, collaborate on exciting projects, and directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our payment solutions.

Your day-to-day:

• Take full ownership of the technical decisions and architecture of the product
• Coordinate daily with the Engineering Manager to align on technical debt prioritization and planning/execution of new initiatives
• Write clean, reusable code and improve best practices
• Ensure that the team adheres to best coding practices
• Actively participate in code reviews, define code quality standards, and foster a strong engineering culture
• Design and build scalable, high-performance solutions
• Share knowledge, guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical support
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to deliver quality solutions, resolve issues
• Support hiring and contribute to team growth
• Bring fresh ideas and drive innovation
  
  
  

Your skills & experience:

• Profound knowledge in PHP, particularly with the Symfony framework or familiarity with other modern frameworks is beneficial
• Experience with relational databases, specifically MySQL
• Strong backend development skills
• Experience working within Agile development processes
• Competence in API design and implementation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in integrating with 3rd party vendors

Our Salary & Work Benefits Package:

• Gross salary: 5000 - 6500 EUR/month + bonuses. Keep in mind that we are open to discuss a different salary based on your skills and competencies
