Sanoma Learning’s Kampus development focuses on creating a cloud-native platform for secondary education. The platform is used by tens of thousands of teachers and students on a daily basis.

Role Responsibilities

Contribute to building the most innovative and engaging educational applications.

As a front-end developer, you will be part of one of our fantastic Scrum teams. You develop new functionalities, solve problems and make analysis of more complex issues. By creating proofs of concept, you support the team in making informed technical decisions.

You do not lose sight of quality and motivate your team members to do the same.

Must-have Requirements

ANGULAR EXPERTISE

Extensive experience with medium- to large-scale Angular (version 16+) applications, including RxJS, NgRx Store, and modern web technologies, is required.

ADVANCED COMPONENT DESIGN

Proficiency in developing reactive standalone components, as well as reusable services, directives, and pipes.

AGILE DEVELOPMENT

Collaborate on epics and user stories, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions that drive business value for our customers.

CODE REUSABILITY & TECHNICAL DEBT

Contribute to minimising technical debt while efficiently reusing code and components wherever applicable.

CI/CD: Improve automated frontend deployment pipelines in cloud infrastructure (AWS), Kubernetes.

BACKEND KNOWLEDGE

Experience working with backend APIs (Java) and MongoDB and familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS), Kubernetes, and Bitbucket pipelines.

COMMUNICATION

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Ability to thrive in an Agile environment, working effectively with cross-functional teams.

Prior experience and extensive knowledge of accessibility, including proficiency in applying WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) principles to ensure web applications are perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. Experience in optimizing contrast ratios, scalable text, and focus indicators for inclusive designs. Familiarity with standards like ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) to enhance accessibility for dynamic content and interactive elements.
