Al Futtaim Education Foundation (AFEF) owns and provides governance to Deira International School and Universal American School. AFEF aims to realise its vision of taking education in the UAE to the next level of future readiness and of preparing students for an increasingly globalised and technologically advanced world. Junior Graphic Designer | Al Futtaim Education Foundation

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our team. You will assist in the creation of compelling visuals and designs that align with our brand and engage our audience. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and learn within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing graphics for digital and print media, including social media posts, website banners, brochures, and advertisements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to develop creative concepts and campaigns.
  • Support the senior design team in executing branding projects, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Prepare and optimize graphics for use across various platforms and formats.
  • Revise and refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new ideas into projects.
  • Maintain and organize design assets, templates, and files.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Basic understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles.
  • A creative portfolio showcasing relevant design work.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics or video editing is a plus.
