Position: Senior Java Full Stack Developer
Location: Remote (Canada-based candidates only; Toronto preferred)

This role involves working with Java, Spring Boot, React, and AWS, with an emphasis on scalability, clean code, and seamless user experience. If you’re a hands-on engineer who enjoys working across the full stack and contributing to architectural discussions, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with business and engineering teams to gather requirements and shape technical solutions.
- Contribute to system design and lead full feature development from concept to deployment.
- Develop robust and scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and other modern technologies.
- Write and maintain unit and integration test suites to ensure code quality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot bugs and resolve production issues effectively.
- Optimize performance and user experience.
- Work on greenfield projects and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, including object-oriented design and dependency injection.
- Proficient in ReactJS and modern front-end development practices.
- Solid understanding of JPA and relational databases (SQL).
- Experience with multithreading and processing large volumes of data.
- Familiarity with unit and integration testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
- Proficient with Git and version control best practices.
- Experience with AWS and cloud-native development.
- Exposure to Node.js.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization.
- CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment automation.
- Scripting experience and Linux system knowledge.
- Exposure to tools such as Kafka, Redis, Gradle, and TypeScript.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, and other team collaboration tools.
- Eagerness to explore and adopt new technologies.
