Internship Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst Intern with a keen interest in data and business analytics, and portfolio management. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work with real-world data, create insightful dashboards, and support business decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and understanding business requirements from stakeholders.
- Connect to SQL databases and extract relevant data using basic to intermediate SQL queries.
- Help design and build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or web hosting platforms (AWS).
- Work with the analytics team to ensure data accuracy and report integrity.
- Participate in data cleaning, transformation, and visualisation tasks.
- Document work processes and provide regular updates to the team.
- Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistic related field.
- Basic understanding of SQL (SELECT statements, joins) and Python.
- Familiarity with Power BI/AWS or able to leverage on AI to learn.
- Familiar with Data Structures and Algorithm is required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
- Exposure to Python, Power Query, SQL, AWS or similar data tools.
- Any coursework or projects involving data visualisation or analytics.
- Experience or interest in frontend development.
- End-to-end experience working on analytics and backend development tasks.
- Hands-on exposure to enterprise tools and real-world datasets.
