Network Engineer

Job Title:

Systems/Network Engineer (6 month - Contract-to-Hire)

Pay Rate:

$51.31/hour (W2)

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Systems/Network Engineer to provide technical leadership and infrastructure support in a hybrid cloud/on-premise environment. With a focus on service excellence, this position is ideal for someone passionate about automation, DevOps practices, and improving IT operations in a mission-driven setting.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Manage enterprise infrastructure systems, including Windows and Linux servers, network appliances, and cloud services
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system/application issues in a 24/7 mission-critical environment
• Support DevOps and process automation initiatives using PowerShell or similar tools
• Adhere to ITSM practices for incident, problem, configuration, and change management
• Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure, procedures, and operational activities

Here’s what our ideal candidate has:

• Proven experience supporting enterprise-level infrastructure in both cloud and on-prem environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Linux OS, PowerShell, and automation tools
• Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices
• DevOps/automation experience within a secure, multi-tiered application architecture
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills

Location & Schedule:

• Location: Local to Arizona – 80% remote (must be available for in-person interviews within 1 week of posting close)
• Start Date: Tentative start, based on interviews and onboarding timeline
• Work Authorization: Must be eligible to convert to full-time (no visa sponsorship)
