Our client, a respected industry leader, is undergoing a major digital transformation and is seeking a Lead React Developer to play a key role in shaping their front-end strategy and enhancing their digital customer experience.

About The Role

As the Lead Front-End Developer, you will lead a newly formed team responsible for building high-performing websites and web applications. Your work will help deliver a seamless digital experience, improve customer engagement, and support business growth. This is a unique opportunity to influence the technical direction of a greenfield front-end team and make a meaningful impact from day one.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of front-end developers to deliver high-quality digital products
• Drive the creation of modern, responsive web applications using React.js and related technologies
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure an intuitive and engaging user experience
• Define and maintain front-end architectural standards and best practices
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and performance optimization
• Work closely with API and backend teams to integrate services seamlessly
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with JavaScript and React.js
• Proven UI/UX development skills, with an eye for detail and performance
• Proficient in HTML/HTML5, XML, DHTML, CSS/CSS3, SASS, LESS, JSON, Bootstrap
• Familiar with state management libraries such as Redux
• Experience with source control tools like GitHub
• Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design, and API architecture
• Exposure to test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD) is a plus
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
