Requirements

• 3+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin
• Strong Kotlin & Android SDK skills
• Experience with performance optimization (mobile & TV)
• Experience with Jetpack libraries including Jetpack Compose
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in debugging and solving complex Android issues
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (JUnit, Espresso)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience in designing scalable and testable Android applications
• Familiarity with MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture patterns
• Prior work with Android media APIs (ExoPlayer, MediaPlayer)
• Understanding of video analytics & telemetry
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness for periodic on-call support
• Ability to mentor junior developers

Responsibilities

• Develop native Android applications for mobile and TV
• Optimize app performance and scalability
• Implement and maintain CI/CD & testing processes
• Design application architecture using best practices
• Collaborate in an Agile team environment
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical support
• Mentor junior team members
• Handle video playback features and integrate media APIs
• Implement telemetry and analytics tracking
