Our client are keen to hire for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer who can work closely with their chosen Vendor specialising in the area of Digital Asset Visibility & Operational Technology!

Reporting into the 'Cyber Security Director' the 'Cyber Security specialist' will work closely with OT engineers, IT Security teams, and business stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities, develop Security strategies, and respond to Security incidents.

You'll have the opportunity to upskill in the critical area of 'Operational Technology' with this role!

Security Assessments & Vulnerability Management will form a key part of this exciting role.

You'll get busy with -

• Conducting regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests on OT systems.
• Identify and analyse security vulnerabilities and risks specific to OT environments.
• Develop and implement vulnerability remediation plans

Your background -

• Essential criteria would be strong skills in - Network Security, Incident Response & Threat Management.
• It would be fantastic if you had a good knowledge and understanding of security devices and software specific to OT, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Policy & Compliance experience : - Have an ability to develop and implement Security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.(Utilising Risk Assessment methodologies).
• Experience with Network security concepts and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
• It would also be really useful (not essential) if you had experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools as well with SIEM solutions.

*This is a Permanent position which does require an on-site presence in my clients County Cavan HQ x2 days per week. The role will also require you to commit to International travel perhaps once per month!
