Key job responsibilities

The Program Manager will be part of the AIR Ops Integration team in Europe. They will be responsible for operational planning and process improvement within the AIR network.

In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For

  • Communicating with Amazon sites and stakeholders (including Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers, Delivery Stations, Airport Gateways) to agree on the best scheduling plan
  • Driving changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of scheduling and volume forecasting, working with Tech teams and forecasting teams
  • Develop continuous improvement opportunities for network execution
  • Identify and communicate roles, responsibilities and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams to gain buy-in and deliver to project schedules.

Successful Candidates Will Have The Following Skills/experience

  • Entrepreneurial spirit (a self-starter) with strong business judgement.
  • Operational mindset; able to understand a complex fulfillment network and understand real world operational constraints
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and reliability to execute the scheduling process.
  • Ability to use analytical tools to dive deep and never be out of touch with the details of the business; ability or willingness to learn how to build reports using common IT tools.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Economics or other analytical fields
  • Experience in program management, analytical, or financial roles
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, QuickSight etc.)
