The opportunity

We are looking for a manager for our new team Documentation Management at business unit MACH. You will be located in Ludvika or Västerås and will be responsible to form and build up a team of specialists within documentation, such as Technical writers, Documentation controllers and documentation governance. You have a background within documentation and are comfortable leading others.

MACH is a modular advanced control system for control and protection functions. MACH have approximately 500 employees developing electronics hardware and software. The organization needs support in establishing structures and accessibility as well as technical writing and templates for both project and product documentation. Documentation Management will be a vital part of MACH and a part of MACH Quality & Operations management team.

How You´ll Make An Impact

• People’s manager for the Documentation specialists, develop individuals in their roles
• Form the Documentation Management team and way of working
• Form a documentation strategy in close cooperation with project managers, development organisations and Quality
• Create good practices and process governance for documentation management
• Drive continuous improvement of documentation processes, systems and tools
• Develop and provide trainings in technical documentation, accesses and structures
• Drive compliance for product and project documentation with internal & external standards
• Support MACH Organization with documentation structure and expertise
• Continuously assess and develop documentation management to be as lean and effective as possible
  
  

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in the function
• Work experience within documentation management, Document Control, Project Manager, or similar
• Project Manager skills and ability to see the big picture
• Proficient computer skills and experience from any document management system are advantageous.
• You are responsive and an engaged person who can speak up
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization
• You are structured, accurate and have a driving personality.
• You have clear leadership qualities and like working in a team
• Knowledge of quality management system or similar is meritorious
• Excellent skills in written English
