What You Will Be Doing

• Follow Everything as Code approach.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment and release processes.
• Implement and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner and document the process to share with team members.
• Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in DevOps principles.

You’ll Be Great For This Role If

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with at least 3 years of experience.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, EKS, S3, Lambda and RDS.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell.
• Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, containerd and Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of Open Systems Interconnection model (OSI model).
• Familiarity with tracing, monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Grafana Stack).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to have

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with other cloud providers (Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Experience with Akamai solutions.
