In this context, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as a Plant Biotech Engineer, to cultivate tomorrow’s breakthroughs and turn nature into next-gen cosmetic actives.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and optimize biotech processes for fermented plant ingredients and in vitro plant cell
  
  

cultures (callus, suspension cultures, etc.). Manage cell cultures under sterile conditions.

Develop and refine protocols for extraction, characterization and bioactivity testing

• Drive innovation by actively collaborating with formulation experts to translate scientific
  
  

research and innovation into viable product formulations. Participate in the development and

testing of prototypes, ensuring that the formulations align with our commitment to green

science and microbiology principles.

• Ensure project communication : prepare comprehensive project reports, including progress
  
  

updates, key findings, and recommendations.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, scientific and technologic advancements, to identify
  
  

trends, and potential new ingredients for product development.

Requirements

• Educational Background:
  
  

Master's degree, engineer or PhD in biotechnology, bioengineering or related field. A knowledge of cosmetic industry is a plus.

• Knowledge and Expertise:
  
  

At least 2 years working with plant-based active ingredients or fermentation processes. Ideally within biotech, cosmetics or life sciences. Previous expertise in project management is preferred.

• Soft skills:
  
  

Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Good synthesis skills.

Autonomy, organization and adaptability: strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to evolving priorities.

Taste for challenges, entrepreneurship. Interest in understanding new technologies, scientific curiosity. “Test & Learn” approach.
