Our client, a leading company in the field of sustainable energy solutions with several locations in Europe, is looking for immediate reinforcement in IT network administration at the Jena site.

A remote share of 40% is possible.

Tasks

• As a Network Administrator (m/f/d) you are responsible for the administration of the network infrastructure, including switches, WLAN and firewalls
• You administer and control network components such as LAN, WLAN, WAN, routing and switching
• You fix network problems and update the infrastructure
• You actively work on network projects and contribute to the further development of the infrastructure
• You will also ensure comprehensive documentation of the network environment
  
  

Qualification

• You have completed vocational training in an IT profession
• You have a strong understanding of IT network infrastructures
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols is an advantage
• Ideally, you have a basic knowledge of Linux
• You are characterized by conscientious and proactive work
• Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills round off your profile
