We have an opportunity for a AI Supervisor to join us at Honeywell, in Dublin, As an AI Supervisor at Honeywell, you will manage a growing team of AI/ML engineers, taking ownership of performance reviews, resource allocation, and the strategic direction of AI initiatives. You'll balance technical oversight with team development, ensuring the group delivers cutting-edge, full-stack AI solutions that push forward Honeywell's vision of autonomous product offerings.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a strong technical culture within the leadership team, the AI Supervisor will spend the first ~3 months as an active engineer within their assigned team, contributing code and participating in the same development cycles as everyone else. We believe this approach helps both you and the team stay proficient with the technologies, day-to-day challenges, and workflows, and improves the bond within the team.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model, with the opportunity to travel to India and US if required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor a team of AI/ML engineers, conducting performance reviews and setting development goals.
  • Align AI/ML projects with broader business objectives, ensuring measurable impact on Honeywell's autonomy roadmap.
  • Provide technical guidance on model selection, MLOps, data engineering, and project scoping.
  • Collaborate with product stakeholders to validate requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, problem-solving, and innovation within the team.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in AI/ML fields, with Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role. Track record of delivering large-scale AI solutions in production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of modern leadership practices (goal-setting, feedback, coaching). Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration, balancing technical depth with business impact. Proven leadership and people-management skills, including conflict resolution and coaching.
  • Understanding of end-to-end AI/ML pipelines-from data ingestion to model governance.
  • Ability to question assumptions and maintain a healthy skepticism to drive data-backed decisions. Skilled communicator able to translate complex AI concepts for executive-level audiences.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Kanban methodologies to manage fast-paced AI project cycles.
