IT Project Manager

What you will do:

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of software solutions aiming at automating GBS-operated processes.

You will interact closely with the Business project Manager, this latter in charge of defining the Functional needs and setting and delivering the Business. Also, the Business project manager will ensure the alignment of the organization and the change management.

This role requires strong SW deployment project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The IT Project Manager will ensure that SW system integration are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. They will also be responsible for identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of software solutions ensuring these are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and other related documents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including GBS Service line teams, GET/HQ Finance or Procurement, GBS IT and local IT to achieve project goals.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project documentation.
• Lead and motivate project team.
• Ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  
  

Desired education, expertise, and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT project management, particularly in Finance or procurement-related projects, depending on the solution he/she will be affected to.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software
• Expertise in SAP projects
• Experience in risk management and mitigation.
• Very good communication skills in English and French nice to have
