IAM Specialist - Energy Sector
📍 Hybrid: 2-3 days per week onsite
🏢 Sector: Energy / Semi-Government
👥 Team: Security within the business side
My client plays a critical role in the energy transition, ensuring a reliable and secure energy supply to millions of homes and businesses. As a semi-government entity, it operates with a strong sense of purpose and public responsibility. As an IAM (Identity & Access Management) Specialist, you'll ensure the right people have the right access to the right resources-at the right time. With thousands of employees and highly sensitive infrastructure, secure and efficient access management is crucial.
This is not purely a technical role-it's business-facing. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders, including crisis management teams and security leadership, to understand access needs, assess risks, and coordinate provisioning and de-provisioning processes securely.
Collaborate with business units to identify access requirements based on roles, responsibilities, and risk levels
Support the design and enforcement of IAM policies, standards, and frameworks

Proven experience in IAM from a business-facing perspective
Strong understanding of access governance, risk management, and compliance
Experience working with multiple stakeholders including security, IT, and business units
Ability to translate access needs into secure, practical actions
Familiarity with large enterprise environments and complex access structures

A supportive culture that values diverse perspectives and continuous learning
Ready to help secure the future of energy?
