As a Cloudflare Networking Specialist, you will join the Digital Products and Enablement domain as part of the Connectivity product team.
In this role, you will leverage your experience in monitoring and enhancing tools and processes to automate routine tasks and strengthen the reliability and governance of cloud and edge systems, with a focus on networking infrastructure.
You will also play a key role in supporting daily security operations, integrating security tools, driving automation initiatives, and contributing to change management and business continuity efforts.
Do you have hands-on experience with automation in CI/CD tools and processes, including the development of multi-environment pipelines using platforms such as GitHub or GitLab?
Are you familiar with network design principles (IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, BYOIP) and technologies like Cloudflare and Cloudflare Managed Rules?
We’re also looking for expertise in cloud platforms—particularly AWS and Alicloud—as well as containerization and orchestration tools like Terraform and Vault.
Additionally, do you have a strong understanding of core security concepts such as web application firewalls (WAF), application and network security, event analysis, GraphQL security, and identity and access management (IAM)?
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, select, design and configure security infrastructure systems in a global environment.
- Identify, integrate, monitor and improve infosec controls by understanding business processes.
- Assist with complex projects and automation of day to day operations to improve SLA
- Roll-out of new cross-cutting technologies
- Spend time with security ensuring that their needs are built into automated guardrails for developer resources
- Own and ensure that internal and external SLA’s meet and exceed expectations, Security Engineering centric KPIs are continuously monitored and improved.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of related work experience in cloud platforms: AWS (must-have)/Azure/GCP/Alicloud
- Experience with AWS Networking
- 3+ years experience in industry standard tools like Cloudflare
- Demonstrated experience in one or more programming languages (preferably Python)
- Preferred hands-on experience with Cloudflare Terraform Provider
- You have experience with automation for infrastructure deploy/manage - terraform
- Healthcare software experience preferred
