Job Title: Freelance Product/Project Manager

Location: Gelderland (Hybrid)

Duration: 18 Months

Overview:

One of my government clients in Gelderland is currently looking for a freelance Product Manager to join an 18 month project! This role involves developing and implementing a KPI dashboard for internal processes, managing a large budget, and leading a team of at least five professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the public sector and possess exceptional stakeholder management skills at both C-suite and development team levels.

Key Responsibilities:

· KPI Dashboard Development: Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive KPI dashboard to monitor and enhance internal processes.

· Budget Management: Oversee and manage a large budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial protocols.

· Team Leadership: Manage a team of at least five members, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to drive successful project outcomes.

· Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at the C-suite level and collaborate closely with the development team to ensure alignment with project objectives.

· Public Sector Experience: Leverage prior experience in the public domain to navigate complex regulatory frameworks and contribute to policy development.

· Project Coordination: Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

· Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Product/Project Manager, preferably within the public sector.

· Strong understanding of KPI development and dashboard creation.

· Demonstrated experience managing budgets of at least €1 million, with a focus on financial accountability.

· Excellent leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.

· Strong stakeholder management abilities, with a track record of working with senior executives and technical teams.
