Network Engineer

• Immediate start
• Initial contract until end of December 2025
• Brisbane location, travel to Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support our client in their transition to new office locations across the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, North Brisbane Suburbs, and Brisbane CBD.

As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth transition to the new premises, including network design, setup, testing, and documentation. You will also be involved in critical tasks such as firewall management, 802.1x redesign, and gear depreciation.

ROLE

• Assist with network design, implementation, and transition of infrastructure to new office locations.
• Set up and configure network equipment for new office spaces, ensuring seamless deployment.
• Manage and update current firewall BPA and redesign 802.1x security architecture.
• Perform lab setup, testing, and trial scenarios to validate system functionality.
• Document configurations, oversee removal of legacy gear, and provide ongoing network monitoring and troubleshooting.

YOU

• Proven experience in network design, implementation, and support.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, network security, and 802.1x.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware setup and testing scenarios.
• Proficiency in documentation and monitoring tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Previous experience with Panorama to SCM integration is highly desirable.
