MPG recruitment is delighted to partner with a growing global supply chain business in Galway City, as they expand their tech team with a Senior Frontend Engineer.

This role suits someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment and loves building clean, data-driven applications. You’ll be part of a tight-knit, innovative team where your ideas genuinely matter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable web apps using ReactJS and TypeScript
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to deliver sleek, responsive designs
• Ensure high-quality, testable, and maintainable code
• Optimise app performance and scalability
• Drive architectural decisions and frontend best practices
• Contribute to CI/CD and testing strategies

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years' experience in frontend development
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (ReactJS preferred)
• Experience with testing tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Great communication and a team-first mindset
• Bonus: Startup background or product-focused experience

Desirable Extras:

• Data visualisation tools like Highcharts or AG Grid
• Experience with GraphQL and serverless platforms (AWS Lambda, GCP Functions)
