Linguistic Project Manager with Slovenian

***Please Note: Relocation is necessary. This position is 100% onsite in Poland, at one of the offices in Krakow or Wroclaw.***

TELUS Digital AI is looking for a Linguistic Project Manager to join our AI team.

As Linguistic Project Manager you will manage administrative and operational elements of projects to assure successful completion and Client satisfaction while meeting company financial goals for the project. The Project Manager is the primary Client contact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Independent delivery in the following areas:

• Developing grammars for Natural Language Understanding
• Creating templates for Natural Language Generation
• Evaluating current system outputs
• Annotating and reviewing linguistic data
• Cooperation with other teams and project managers
• Planning and prioritizing workload
• Serving as gate-keeper of client deadlines
• Preparing guidelines for semantic, syntactic and morphological analysis
• Evaluating and analyzing data quality
• Participating in project managers meetings, syncs and side-projects

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 2 years experience in a natural language processing project (e.g. Assistant, Siri, Alexa, etc.)
• Graduate degree, or comparable work experience, in Linguistics or Computational Linguistics
• Professional fluency in English
• Native in Slovenian language
• Knowledge of semantics and syntax
• Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts
• An interest in natural language processing
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Able to multitask effectively and adjust smoothly to changing priorities

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with linguistic annotation in semantics and syntax
• Experience programming or scripting, and working in Linux/Unix environment
