Node.js Developer

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing server-side applications and APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to client requests. You will work closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver scalable and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure applications adhering to best practices.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.
• Maintain and improve existing applications.
• Implement security and data protection protocols.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Node.js developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with frameworks such as Express.js, Koa.js, or NestJS.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and WebSocket protocols.
• Knowledge of database systems such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of version control tools like Git.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with frontend technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Mocha, Jest, or Chai.
