Tech Lead – Critical Systems (Nordics, Hybrid)

A leading organisation in the logistics and infrastructure space is searching for a hands-on Tech Lead to drive the architecture, technical vision, and team development of business-critical systems. About the role

You’ll take ownership of several core systems tied to pricing, services, and customer agreements – foundational elements of the company’s operational backbone. You’ll work closely with the product owner, engineers, and business stakeholders to lead technical delivery, support architectural decisions, and remain active in the codebase (~30%).

Key responsibilities

• Own technical direction and architecture across multiple initiatives
• Guide and mentor development teams while promoting best practices
• Contribute hands-on with code (Java, Spring, Angular)
• Collaborate with product teams to align tech with business strategy
• Modernise and scale core services using a modern DevOps stack
• Support backlog prioritisation and roadmap planning
• Continuously improve delivery, quality, and developer experience

Tech environment includes:

Java, Spring, Angular, PostgreSQL, Redis, GitHub Actions, Azure Functions, Docker, Terraform, Azure Container Apps, KEDA, Dapr

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of backend development experience with JVM-based languages
• Solid experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular preferred)
• Proven background in technical leadership or solution architecture
• Understanding of agile delivery and DevOps culture
• Strong communication skills in a Nordic language and English
• Passion for both team leadership and remaining technical
