Role: Senior UI/UX Designer

Location: Abu Dhabi  

Role Purpose:
  • The senior UI/UX Designer’s role involves conducting extensive research, analyzing user feedback, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop intuitive and user-centered designs.


Key Accountabilities of the role:
  • Be highly analytical as well as highly creative, and consistently demonstrate superb design, writing and presentation skills. 
  • Justify design decisions based on a thorough understanding of contemporary user-cantered design methodologies. 
  • Thrive in a work environment that requires strong independent problem-solving skills, self-direction, and innovative thinking coupled with an aptitude and affinity for team collaboration and open communication.
  • Clearly articulate design needs and key decisions to business stakeholders across markets and brands collaborating closely with Product Leads and Product Managers 
  • Design elegant and delightful product experiences as part of a cross-functional Agile product teams
  • Research, identify and articulate customer needs      


Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge, Technical Competencies Required for this role:
  • Experience with designing quality consumer products, as well as enabling business capability and objectives through technology
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who is self-motivated, but also a team player with a professional presence
  • Graphical and Visual Design skills using a diverse set of software such as Adobe suite, Figma, Sketch or other tools for product design.
  • Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping 
  • Knowledge of Agile software development process


Previous experience:   
  • 4-6 years of experience in UI & UX
  • Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent area
  • Ability to communicate with different departments of a multi-national and dynamic organization
  • Experience with design tools like Sketch, Adobe Suite and Figma
  • Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping 
  • Knowledge of Agile software development process
  • Knowledge of Design Systems is a plus
