About our Company:

Universal DX, Inc. is an international Company with a highly experienced team focused on cracking cancer’s code. Through our multi-omics and bioinformatics models, we have figured out how to read the disease’s signals in blood with high accuracy to detect cancer in its earliest stages. Starting with a colorectal cancer screening liquid biopsy test, we are building a multi-cancer platform that can identify the unique DNA regions associated with different types of cancers.


The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced HR Operations Senior Specialist based in Madrid to boost our People operations function at Universal DX. This role is crucial in leading and implementing people operations globally and ensuring compliance with Spain’s labour regulations.


You will be part of a team that is passionate about developing novel diagnostic tests for the early detection of cancers. As part of the team, you will be in a Company that aims more than to become one of the leaders in the industry. How you’ll contribute:

· Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.

· Lead and implement local compliance (Spain) from an HR Operations perspective: Equality Plan, LGTBI+ Plan, among others.

· Constant support is needed for our U.S. people operations role to ensure global HR alignment across countries.

· Lead day-to-day support in the HR area (employment contracts, payroll, absenteeism, training actions, onboarding, and offboarding).

· Help the region (Europe) streamline processes, drive consistency to ensure that local variance regulations are included, and make recommendations for improvements.

· Lead market research for global benefits improvement plans.

· Cross-country alignment on HR-specific topics, ensuring data quality, and delivering HR processes along the HR life cycle.

· Support the implementation and optimization of HR projects and initiatives in collaboration with the HR department and stakeholders.

· Ensure data accuracy, reliability, confidentiality, timeliness, and completeness by monitoring the delivery of the projects.

· Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns related to HR Admin.

· Be a trusted partner of stakeholders within HR, finance, legal, and business leaders through frequent communication, feedback, and problem-solving.

· Prepare and provide analysis and reporting on various HR topics.


What you’ll bring:

· At least 7 years of experience in HR operations, employee relations role or similar.

· Proficiency in Personio or similar HRIS platforms.

· Strong understanding of labour laws and HR best practices.

· Advanced level of English.
