We are currently looking for a Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d) for our client's TechSupport department in Rotkreuz.

If you have experience in the service and maintenance of industrial test systems and knowledge of sensor technology, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The perfect candidate will have a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering and at least 4 years' experience in the service and maintenance of industrial test systems/facilities. Knowledge of sensors and industrial communications is a must.

Your responsibilities:

• Contact person for test systems in the productive environment of medical analyzers
• Analysing and troubleshooting complex test systems at 2nd level support level
• Recording and processing support cases in a ticket system: documentation, dispatching, collecting error statistics and preventive maintenance
• Carrying out regular maintenance and calibration of measurement equipment
• Administration and inventory of test systems and procurement and management of their spare parts
• Setting up and configuring Windows clients for the test systems
• Handover of test systems to production and training of 1st level support in the production lines
• Collaboration and introduction of maintenance aspects in the development of new test systems
• Ensuring and complying with regulatory requirements

Your profile:

• Degree (B.Sc. / B.Eng.) or HF technician in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering (with automation technology / electrical engineering component)
• At least 4 years of professional experience in service and maintenance (mainly support and troubleshooting) of industrial test systems / equipment
• Knowledge of sensor technology (temperature, pressure, flow and force measurement methods / technologies)
• Experience in carrying out maintenance and calibration of measuring equipment
• Good knowledge of industrial communication: Ethernet incl. the various TCP/IP protocols, RS232, FTP / SFTP, field buses (e.g. CAN) **.
• Good knowledge of client installation and server connection (Windows operating systems incl. their system tools, BIOS, configurations, Active Directory, user management, batch files, scripts, etc.)
• Knowledge of software programming (LabView, Python, C#, PLC systems or similar environments) and knowledge of medical technology would be an advantage.
• Experience with system backup and recovery handling
• Experience in creating documentation and writing manuals
• Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English (B1 written and spoken) are required.
