Senior Software Engineer – Multiple Positions Available | Finland (Flexible Office Locations)

Our client, Finland's leading IT services provider, is looking for multiple Senior Software Engineers to join their team. These roles focus on high-profile digital transformation projects within the public sector, developing secure and scalable solutions that directly benefit Finnish citizens!

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure, high-availability systems in multi-vendor environments.
• Build and scale cloud-native applications using AWS services.
• Create and enhance digital identity and authentication solutions.
• Implement robust APIs and backend services to support critical public sector applications.
• Ensure compliance with high-security government standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Fluent in Finnish (mandatory due to project requirements).

Experience with:

• Backend: Java (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud), Node.js (Express.js).
• Frontend: React, TypeScript.
• Cloud: AWS (Lambda, RDS, ElasticCache, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• APIs: REST, JSON, SOAP, GraphQL.
• Security: JWT, SSO, SAML 2, OpenID Connect, VAHTI 1/2013 standards.
• DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Ansible.
• Testing: TDD, JUnit, Selenium.
• Experience working in high-security government environments (ST IV/III).
