Full Stack Engineer

Company Overview:

Pinpoint Estimates, a dynamic fintech company based in Stockholm, is dedicated to fostering transparency and democratising the stock market. We operate an open platform that leverages crowd-sourced financial estimates from independent analysts and private investors for companies listed on the Nordic stock exchanges.

In the last year, Pinpoint Estimates achieved significant milestones, tripling our data volume, launching our first integrations with other investor tools and becoming a standard for market expectations data used by financial media. However, our ambitions extend further – we aim to attract more users, expand into new markets and integrate with more tools and platforms. To achieve these goals, we are actively seeking smart and passionate individuals to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in development of a robust and scalable product architecture.
• Work closely with the CTO and other functions to align technology strategies with business goals.
• Drive innovation and provide technical expertise to shape the product roadmap.
• Develop, test and deploy software solutions. Our stack is React/Next.js, Node, PostgreSQL and AWS.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack, ensuring optimal application performance.
• Optimize and enhance existing code for scalability, performance and maintainability.

Requirements:

• Technical Expertise: Proven experience as a full-stack developer, candidates proficient in front-end technologies and interest for back-end are also welcome. Understanding of system architecture, databases, and cloud computing is a bonus. 
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: previous experience in a startup environment or a demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset. Ability to take calculated risks and make quick, strategic decisions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in fullstack development or front-end development.
