About the role:
- Develop and implement AI solutions and algorithms to solve complex business problems
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver AI solutions, collaborating with data scientists and software developers to integrate AI models into applications and systems
- Design and build machine learning pipelines and infrastructure
- Optimise AI models for scalability and efficiency
- Ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on AI-related projects, utilising stakeholder management skills and building trusting client relationships
- Manage and coach junior team members and provide technical and non-technical guidance on their projects
- Suitable experience with a minimum of a third level degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Solid background in deploying data driven and AI applications into production, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in statistical and exploratory data analysis, data mining, and machine learning techniques
- Experience working with large data sets and distributed computing tools such as Hadoop or Spark
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
- Experience on working with Large Language Models (OpenAI, Anthropics, LLama, Gemini etc.) with fine tuning and prompt engineering practices
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or PowerBI is a plus
