BI Developer / Temporary position for 1 - 1,5 years

Visma Enterprise BI has over 200 customers (and growing) that need continuous support and insights with the use of Business Intelligence and Analytics tools.

Main Areas Of Responsibility And Tasks

  • In close collaboration with cross-functional teams, develop and document:
    • Data-models for analysis and reporting insights
    • State-of-the-art Business Intelligence dashboards
    • Data-driven solutions with approved BI and analytics tools
  • Support in the development of automation processes and projects
  • Secure and store all project data in compliance with Visma policies and general legislation like GDPR
  • Dashboard development and maintenance of these
  • Onboarding/offboarding of customers
  • Support customers with 3rd-line issues and initiatives for improvement
Main Requirements

  • Experience with Business Intelligence platforms 1-8 years.: Experience in leveraging BI tools such as MicroStrategy (preferred), PowerBI, or Tableau for reporting, analytical dashboards, and decision support system development
  • Expertise in Data Analysis and Visualization: Proficiency in transforming complex data sets into actionable insights. Ability to create compelling visualizations and interactive dashboards that cater to diverse business needs
  • Proficiency in ETL Processes and Tools: Hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks to extract, transform, and load data
  • In-depth Understanding of Data Warehousing Principles: Knowledge of Data Warehouse architecture, modelling, and implementation. Experience with columnar databases, preferably Amazon Redshift, including optimization and administration practices
  • Advanced SQL Skills: Strong command over SQL for complex query writing, data analysis, and performance tuning
  • Proactivity and Analytical Mindset: A self-driven individual with an eye for identifying opportunities for improvement. Excellence in problem-solving, paired with a customer-centric approach to delivering solutions
  • Attention to Detail and Curiosity: A meticulous focus on details paired with a continuous drive for learning
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English

  • Experience with AWS and Strategy
  • Curious and have attentions to details
  • Experience with security, architecture and cloud delivery
  • Experience in building and managing data pipelines for data processing. Understanding of data flow mechanisms and integration across systems
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, for data manipulation, scripting, and automation of tasks
