Data Science Specialist

We are seeking a Data Science Operations Specialist for a contract assignment to support our Data Science team in managing and prioritizing advanced analytics requests, including initial analysis and investigation. This role will coordinate efforts to develop chatbot solutions for various business areas and support the existing data science platforms. The position involves working closely with Operations & Support teams and supporting Databricks users, including handling basic and advanced platform needs. Key projects will include developing a reusable AI framework to support scalable AI applications. Documentation of processes, user guides, and technical manuals is also an essential part of the role.

Tasks

• Handle, coordinate, and prioritize incoming advanced analytics requests.
• Conduct initial analysis and provide early insights for new data science initiatives.
• Lead chatbot development projects for various business streams.
• Collaborate with Operations & Support teams to assist Databricks users with platform needs.
• Support platform development, focusing on an end-to-end AI framework for scalable AI products.
• Document projects, create user guides, and develop manuals for data science tools.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Advanced degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in statistical analysis, data science, or machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python or similar data-oriented programming languages and SQL.
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms, and advanced knowledge of Databricks, including Unity Catalog, workflows, CI/CD, and ML deployments.

Candidates must be based in the EU. It will be require to work onsite for the first few weeks in Orebro, Sweden. It will go remote after.
